Equipment

For CanSkate

• Both fitted figure skates and hockey style skates are fine for CanSkate
• Leather, lace up skates are preferable to vinyl
• Molded plastic skates with velcro closures are not recommended
• CSA approved hockey helmets are mandatory for ALL CanSkaters
• Bike, Ski and other types of helmet are NOT acceptable.

For Jr Star and StarSkate

• Boots and blades should be appropriate to the skill level of the skater. Please speak with one of the coaches for advice about the best boots and blades for your skater
